Event Highlights

On the 18th of April 2026, Artisans Haven along with various partners, including GME, ZhongYing education, Puteri Pakma Edu Art etc. launched a small get together reading session for children in an effort to empower women and other communities.

The sessions started out with a live reading session from Puteri Pakma, who read a storybook she illustrated and wrote herself.

Capturing the hearts of children with her wonderful storytelling

After that were activities for the children to try, which included a colouring session for the kids, everyone was very talented and let out their inner artist. All images were provieded by Puteri Pakma herself.

After that the children were allowed to partake in a small drumming session, allowing them to learn more about Malaysian culture.

It was an event packed day for these kids, who were enjoying everything from start to finish. They had learned more about their country and their roots, and also were given gifts for participating. We want to thank the Artisans Haven for letting us join them in their journey to empowering women and other smaller communities and wish them all the best on their future endevours.

Thank you to all our collaborators

Thank you.
