A Storytelling session and a Dance Performance
Traditional Malay Dance along with a Storytelling session by Princess Pakma!


On the 23rd of March 2024, Beraya di Kampung held a dance performance at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, starting from the 2nd floor, there were 4 dances in total, all traditional Malay dances being performed for everyone to watch. At the end of the 4th set, the dancers set out to dance all the way to the 6th floor where Beraya di Kampung was held. At the end they had a spectacular finish!
On the 24th of March 2024, miss Puteri Pakma shared with everyone the tales of Puteri Pakma Belum! It was a exciting tale to behold!

The Malaysia Kendama Festival (Post Event)
Sharing the love of Kendama
From the 1st of January all the way to the 14th of January 2024, The Malaysia Kendama Festival was held at Tokyo Street Kuala Lumpur. The founder, Conan, was there everyday teaching everyone about the Kendama and actively promoting the benefits of the kendama
And on the 13th of January 2024, the long awaited Kendama Competition arrived, many challengers showed up to try out.
Many of the challengers gave it their all, and all of them did amazingly, there were even performances and showcases from professional Kendama players in Malaysia.









All in all, the Festival was a huge success, with the The Director of The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur, TSUKAMOTO NORIHISA showing up to the event as well to give away the trophy. We hope too hold the event again next year! So if you’ve missed out on this one, stay tuned for next year!
